SurfinSapo's Fried Okra Part 2 Recipe Video

I grow my own okra in my garden. I love to fry it up with 50% flour 50% corn meal after I soak it in a small amount of milk and Cajun seasoning. Fry it at 350 degrees until it is golden brown. Great snack or appetizer.

Editors Review

These crispy breaded and Cajun spiced okra bites is a slimeless way to enjoy these grassy pods of summer. This is a recipe that can convert even the most staunch okra haters. You wont be able to tell that the mucilaginous okra is hiding below the crispy cornmeal breading. These make great nibbles to accompany beer on a hot summers day!
