Ingredients
| 1 part Bourbon whiskey | ||
| 1/4 French vermouth | ||
| Simple syrup | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 2 dashes Peychand Bitters | ||

Directions
Put simple syrup and lemon peel into glass with ice.
Stir until glass is well chilled.
Add whiskey, vermouth, and bitters.
Stir again briskly.
