Creole Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup finely chopped green pepper
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/4 cup thinly sliced celery
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon finely chopped garlic
1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
1 can (15 oz.) tomato sauce
Directions
In medium glass bowl, combine green pepper, onion, celery, butter, garlic and chili powder.
Cook, covered with plastic wrap, at HIGH 2 to 3 minutes.
Stir in tomato sauce; cook, covered, at HIGH 2 minutes, and at MEDIUM-LOW 4 to 5 minutes; stir once.
