Creole Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| 45 ml saf flower oil | ||
| 3 finely diced onions | ||
| 2 finely diced green bell peppers | ||
| 3 finely diced celery stalks | ||
| 20 peeled, seeded and chopped tomatoes | ||
| Salt | 10 Milliliter | |
| Paprika | 10 Milliliter | |
| Garlic powder | 5 Milliliter | |
| Onion powder | 5 Milliliter | |
| Cayenne pepper | 5 Milliliter | |
| Pepper white | 3 Milliliter | |
| Black pepper | 3 Milliliter | |
| Basil leaves | 5 Milliliter | |
| Oregano leaves | 3 Milliliter | |
| Thyme leaves | 3 Milliliter | |
| Green onions | 6 , diced | |
| Parsley | 1 Bunch (100gm), chopped | |
Directions
Heat the oil in a large sauce pan.
Saute the onion, celery and green pepper until tender.
Add the tomatoes and seasoning, simmer gently until the desired thickness has been achieved (about 4 hours).
Add the green onion and parsley.
Simmer 15 minutes longer.
Sauce is ready for use.
