Ingredients

 Butter/Margarine1/2 Teaspoon
 1 1/2 lbs. calf or beef liver, cut into 1 1/2-inch strips
 Onion1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Instant minced onion2 Tablespoon
 Green pepper1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 Salt1/2 Teaspoon
 1/8 teaspoon leaf marjoram or rosemary
 1/8 teaspoon ground thyme or poultry seasoning
 Tomato Paste3/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 cup condensed beef consomme
 Water1/4 Cup (16 tbs)

Directions

In large fry pan, brown liver in butter on medium heat.
Add remaining ingredients.
Simmer, covered, 20 minutes for calf liver or 30 minutes for beef liver, adding small amounts of water if liquid becomes too thick.
Serve hot.
