Creme Caramel Recipe
Creme Caramel is a rich custard dessert. The recipe uses vanilla adding a nice flavor to this Creme Caramel. Serve this Creme Caramel with a layer of soft caramel on top. Prepare Creme Caramel and it will keep you craving it for days.

Sugar
4 eggs
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease six 6-ounce custard cups. In small saucepan over medium heat, heat 1/4 cup sugar until melted and a light caramel color, stirring constantly. Immediately pour into prepared custard cups.
2. In large bowl, with wire whisk or fork, beat eggs and 1/4 cup sugar until well blended. Beat in milk, vanilla, and salt until well mixed; pour mixture into custard cups.
3. Place custard cups in 13" by 9" baking pan; fill pan with hot water to come halfway up sides of custard cups. Bake 50 to 55 minutes, until knife inserted in center of custard comes out clean. Remove cups from water in baking pan; cover and refrigerate until chilled, about 2 hours.
