Creamy Praline Patties Recipe
Creamy praline patties are made with sugar and butter and creamed together with light cream and pecan nuts. Cooked over heat and dropped on wzwd sheets, the creamy praline patties are best served with caramel sauce or just by themselves.
Ingredients
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Soda | 3/4 Teaspoon | |
| Light cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 11/2 Tablespoon | |
| Pecan halves | 2 Cup (16 tbs) |
Directions
In deep 3 quart saucepan, combine sugar and soda; mix well with wooden spoon.
Stir in cream carefully.
Bring to boil over medium heat; stir occasionally.
Reduce heat; cook and stir to soft ball stage (234°).
Double check for soft ball stage: Use both a candy thermometer and the cold water test.
Remove from heat.
Add butter immediately.
Add pecans.
Beat mixture till thick, 2 to 3 minutes.
Drop from metal spoon on waxed paper.(If necessary, add a 'little hot water.)
