Creamy Noodle Squares Recipe
Adapted from Sharp Microwave and Convection Cookbook.
Ingredients
250 g egg noodles
250 g creamed cottage cheese
125 g cream cheese
300 mL sour cream
3 eggs, beaten
4 shallots, finely chopped
2 teaspoons lemon juice salt and freshly ground pepper
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
Directions
Place egg noodles in a large bowl.
Cover with hot water.
Cook, uncovered, for 8-10 minutes or until tender.
Drain.
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Mix cottage cheese, cream cheese and sour cream together.
Beat in eggs, shallots, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Combine noodles and egg mixture.
Spoon into lightly greased casserole dish sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
Bake on Low Rack for 20-25 minutes on LOW MIX/BAKE 180°C 6.
Grill for 3 minutes to make top crisp and brown.
Cut into squares to serve.
