Creamy Mustard Sauce Recipe

Ingredients

 
1 cup sugar
 
2 tablespoons dry mustard
 
2 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch
 
2 egg yolks, beaten
 
1 cup half-and-half
 
1 1/2 tablespoons cider vinegar
 
Fresh parsley sprigs

Directions

Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan, mix well.
Combine egg yolks and half-and-half, stir well.
Gradually stir egg mixture into dry ingredients, cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until smooth and thickened.
Stir in vinegar.
Let cool.
Pour sauce into serving dish, garnish with fresh parsley sprigs.
