| Eggs | 3 Small, separated | |

| Chocolate cookie crumbs - 1 1/2 cup | ||
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Heavy cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs), Whipped | |
Directions
MAKING
1. Soften gelatin in 1/4 cup cold water.
2. Mix the cookie crumbs and butter; press mixture against side and bottom of 9-inch pie plate.
3. Beat egg yolks lightly in top of double boiler; add sugar and salt. Stir in milk gradually; cook, stirring, until thickened Dissolve gelatin in hot mixture; chill until partially congealed.
4. Beat egg whites until stiff, beating in vanilla. Fold egg whites and whipped cream into gelatin mixture; spoon into crumb crust. Refrigerate until firm.
SERVING
5. Serve chilled
