Creamy Veal Recipe
Ingredients
| Veal - 1 1/2 pounds, thin slices of cut-sized pieces | ||
| Onion | 1 | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Condensed cream of mushroom soup | 1 Can (10oz) | |
| Water | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Marsala | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Paprika | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper - a dash | ||
| Pimiento | 1 Tablespoon, chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1) Place the veal slices on a flat surface. Pound them using a mallet or the edge of a heavy saucer.
2) In a skillet, melt butter. Add in the pounded veal along with onions and garlic. Saute till the meat browns and the vegetables soften.
3) Add in the condensed cream of mushroom soup, water, lemon juice, wine, paprika and pepper.
4) Cover the skillet. Cook the mixture on low flame for about 15 minutes.
5) Keep stirring often.
SERVING
6) Serve the Creamy Veal hot, garnished with pimiento.
