Creamy Pralines Recipe
Ingredients
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Sugar | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 small can Pet milk | ||
| 1 tablespoon white Karo syrup | ||
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Pecans | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Caramelize 1 cup of sugar over low heat until just melted.
At the same time, boil 2 cups sugar, milk and white Karo for 3 minutes.
Add caramel syrup to the boiling mixture, stirring rapidly.
Cook to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat.
Add butter, vanilla and pecans.
Beat until it holds its shape.
Drop on waxed paper.
Yields about. 36.
