3 cooked medium potatoes , peeled, quartered, and sliced
 
1 teaspoon sugar
 
1 teaspoon vinegar
 
1/2 cup sliced celery
 
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
 
1/4 cup chopped sweet pickle
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1 teaspoon celery seed
 
3/4 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
 
2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced

Directions

1 In medium mixing bowl sprinkle potatoes with sugar and vinegar. Add celery, onion, sweet pickle, salt, and celery seed; toss gently to mix.
2 Add mayonnaise or salad dressing; toss gently to coat. Carefully fold in sliced eggs. Refrigerate until chilled.
