Creamy Potato Chowder Recipe
Ingredients
| 5 medium-sized potatoes, diced | ||
| 3 medium-sized onions, sliced | ||
| 16 oz. can mushroom soup | ||
| Butter | 1 Ounce | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Pint | |
| Grated nutmeg | ||
| Mustard | 1 Teaspoon, made | |
| Cooked carrot rings or few green peas or slices green pepper, optional | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cook the potatoes and onions in a small amount of water until tender, then rub through a sieve.
Add the mushroom soup, butter, milk, salt and pepper to taste, nutmeg and mustard.
Heat gently.
If liked, add a few cooked carrot rings, green peas or slices of green pepper.
