Creamy Non Dairy Pimento Sauce Recipe
Ingredients
| Tofu | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| Pimentos | 1 Can (10oz), drained | |
| 1 teaspoon or more ground cumin | ||
| 1 teaspoon or more paprika | ||
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), peeled | |
| Cider vinegar | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Olive oil | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Capers | 2 Tablespoon, drained | |
| Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 6 to 8 small sun-dried tomatoes, reconstituted in boiling water for 3 minutes and drained | ||
| Toasted almonds | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
Directions
Place all ingredients in food processor and blend until very smooth.
Allow to stand 1 hour to blend flavors.
Taste and correct seasoning, then heat in a saucepan over medium-low heat.
