Creamy Ham Medley Recipe
Ingredients
| Onion | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Celery | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), thinly sliced | |
| Green pepper | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
| Butter/Margarine | 2 Tablespoon | |
| All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons | ||
| Milk | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cream-style cottage cheese - 1 cup | ||
| Cooked ham | 1 Cup (16 tbs), cubed | |
| Narrow egg noodles - 2 cups, cooked | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| Paprika | ||
Directions
GETTING READY
1 Preheat the oven to 350°F.
2 Lightly grease a 1-quart casserole.
MAKING
3 In a heavy saucepan, melt butter.
4 Saute vegetables until tender.
5 Lower the heat and stir in flour.
6 Cook for about 1 minute, stirring constantly.
7 Gradually pour in the milk and cottage cheese.
8 Cook over medium heat, until the mixture is thick and bubbly, stirring constantly.
9 Stir in ham, noodles, salt, and pepper.
10 Transfer the mixture into the prepared casserole.
11 Sprinkle with paprika.
12 Bake for 25 minutes or until bubbly.
