Creamy Garlic Dressing Recipe
Creamy garlic dressing is a savory and spicy dressing made with a yogurt base. Flavored with mustard, cayenne and garlic, this creamy salad dressing also has parsley for a fresh taste to it.
Ingredients
1 cup plain low fat yogurt
1 1/2 teaspoons Dijon or spicy brown mustard
1/2 teaspoon finely grated lemon rind
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons minced parsley
2 cloves garlic, crushed
Directions
In a medium size bowl, whisk together the yogurt, mustard, lemon rind, and cayenne pepper.
Stir in the parsley.
Thread the garlic onto a toothpick and add to the dressing.
Cover and chill for 6 hours or overnight.
Remove the garlic and discard before serving the dressing.
Store any leftover dressing in a tightly covered jar in the refrigerator and shake well before each use.
