Creamy Clam With Spinach Recipe
Remember the good old days when your mom used to make Creamy Clam With Spinach? I wanted to prepare something special for my family, and guess what? Recollecting my mother's recipe, in no time the spinach dish was ready. All credit goes to clam liquour and seafood seasoning. Ingredients
| Onion | 3 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Shallots | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| Spinach | 2 Bunch (100gm), chopped | |
| Black pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning | ||
| Minced | 2 Can (10oz) | |
| Lemon juice | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Half and Half | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Freshly grated Parmesan cheese | ||
Directions
Saute onion in butter until soft.
Add shallots and garlic and cook 3 minutes.
Add spinach, pepper and seafood seasoning; cover and cook until spinach is tender.
Puree half of spinach mixture with 1 can clams.
Remove to saucepan and repeat with remaining clams and spinach mixture.
Combine puree with lemon juice and cream; reheat, but do not boil.
Adjust seasonings to taste and serve with a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese.
