Creamy Bow Ties With Basil Recipe
Ingredients
| Butter | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Green onions | 4 Small, chopped | |
| Garlic | 2 Clove (5gm), finely chopped | |
| Walnuts | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), finely chopped | |
| Light cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Parmesan cheese | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), grated | |
| 8 oz bow tie pasta | ||
| Basil | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
In a large saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
Add green onions, garlic and walnuts; cook, stirring, for 2 minutes or until onions are softened.
Stir in cream and Parmesan. Keep warm over low heat; do not let mixture boil.
Cook pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water until tender but firm.
Drain well; add to cream sauce along with basil and toss to coat.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
