Creamy Beef And Onions Recipe
Ingredients
| 3/4 pound lean ground beef or veal | ||
| Mushrooms | 2 Cup (16 tbs), sliced | |
| 2 medium onions, cut into thin wedges | ||
| Garlic | 1 Clove (5gm), minced | |
| 1 10 1/4 ounce can beef gravy | ||
| Low fat plain yogurt | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Worcestershire sauce | 1 Tablespoon | |
| 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme or sage, crushed | ||
| Pepper | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 2 cups hot cooked rice or noodles | ||
| Snipped parsley | 2 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In a large skillet cook meat, mushrooms, onions, and garlic till meat is no longer pink and onion is tender.
Drain off fat.
In a mixing bowl stir together beef gravy, yogurt, Worcestershire sauce, thyme or sage, and pepper.
Stir into meat mixture.
Heat through.
