Creamed Sweetbreads Recipe

Ingredients
1 pound sweetbreads, cooked and partially cooled
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
3 tablespoons all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt and dash paprika
1 cup canned chicken broth
1/2 cup light cream
1 3 ounce can broiled sliced mushrooms, drained
2 tablespoons cooking sherry
1 package frozen patty shells, baked
Directions
Remove membrane from cooled sweetbreads.
Melt butter, blend in flour, salt, paprika.
Add broth, cream; cook and stir till thickened; add sweetbreads, mushrooms, and sherry.
Heat.
Serve in patty shells.
Trim with parsley fluffs.
