Creamed Smoked Haddock Recipe
Ingredients
| Enough smoked haddock for 4-6 people | ||
| Milk | 1 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Cream | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 2 Tablespoon | |
| Hard boiled eggs | 2 , chopped | |
| Parsley | ||
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
Cut the haddock into small pieces and put into a dish.
Warm the milk, cream, butter and add plenty of pepper.
Pour the 'mixture over the fish, cover and bake for about 25 minutes in a moderate oven 350°F (180°C).
Just before serving add the chopped hard boiled eggs and sprinkle with parsley.
Season to taste.
The sauce may be thickened with a little cornstarch before you add the eggs.
