Creamed Oysters And Mushrooms Recipe
Ingredients
| Oysters | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Butter | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 3 Tablespoon | |
| Mushrooms | 1 Cup (16 tbs), canned | |
| Milk | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg yolks | 2 | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion juice- 1 teaspoon | ||
| Lemon juice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
Directions
MAKING
1.First, drain the oysters
2.In a shallow pan, heat the oysters until the edges begin to curl
3.Now add liquid to the pan
4.In a double boiler, melt butter and blend in flour
5.Also combine oyster liquor, mushroom liquor and enough milk to make 2 cups and add to flour and butter
6.Cook until thickened, make sure to keep stirring constantly
7.Add slightly beaten egg yolks and mix quickly and properly
8.Add remaining ingredients and oysters and cook for 2 minutes
SERVING
9.Serve with salads, cooked vegetables or garlic bread
