Mushrooms - 1 can (3 or 4 ounces)
 
Milk
 
Tabasco - 1/4 teaspoon
 
Butter or margarine - 1/3 cup
 
Flour - 6 tablespoons
 
Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
 
Dry mustard - 1 teaspoon
 
Hard cooked eggs - 4, quartered
 
Cooked ham - 2 1/2 cups, diced

Directions

MAKING
1. Drain mushrooms and add enough milk to mushroom liquid to make 3 cups.
2. Stir in Tabasco and reserve.
3. In a pan melt butter, add flour, salt and dry mustard stirring to a smooth paste.
4. Gradually add milk and cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and comes to a boil.
5. Add drained mushrooms, hard cooked eggs and ham and heat to serving temperature.

SERVING
6. Place in a serving dish, garnish with toasted buttered bread crumbs, if desired and serve.
