Creamed Clams Recipe
Ingredients
| Clams | 4 Quart | |
| Onion | 1 Tablespoon, minced | |
| Butter | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Flour | 4 Tablespoon | |
| Milk- 1 to 1 1/2 cups | ||
| slice | 6 , buttered | |
| Parsley- as required | ||
| Pimiento strip | 6 | |
| Salt | To Taste | |
| Pepper | To Taste | |
Directions
MAKING
1.In a pot, steam clams and remove from shells, make sure to save the liquor
2.Cook onion in butter until yellow and blend in flour
3.Now add milk to clam liquor to make 2 cups and also add to flour and butter
4.Cook until mixture is thickened, keep stirring constantly
5.Now add clams and season with salt and pepper
SERVING
6.Serve with salads or cooked vegetables
