Creamed Sardines Recipe
Ingredients
| Milk cream | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 cup soft fresh bread crumbs | ||
| Butter/Margarine | 4 Tablespoon, melted | |
| 4-ounce can of sardines | ||
| 2 hard-cooked eggs, chopped | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| 6 or 8 toast triangles | ||
Directions
1. Heat the cream, crumbs and butter or margarine in the top of a double boiler, stirring to make a smooth paste.
2. Drain, bone and crush the sardines. Add the hot sauce, stir well, add eggs, salt and pepper.
