Creamed Rice Pudding Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 1/4 L / 2 pints milk | ||
| 150 g. / 5 oz. sugar | ||
| Salt | 1 Pinch | |
| 75 g. / 3 oz. rice | ||
| 5 ml. / 1 teaspoon vanilla essence | ||
Directions
Put the milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan and bring to the boil.
Gradually add the rice, then simmer, stirring occasionally, for 45 minutes to 1 hour, or until most of the liquid is absorbed and the rice is tender.
Stir in the vanilla.
