Creamed Peas Recipe
Ingredients
| 1 cup DANNON® Plain Nonfat or Lowfat Yogurt | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Tablespoon | |
| 1 teaspoon dried | 2 Tablespoon, finely chopped | |
| 1 jar (2 ounces) diced pimiento, drained | ||
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Frozen peas | 1 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Chicken broth | 3 Tablespoon | |
Directions
In a small bowl combine yogurt, flour, dill weed, pimiento, salt and pepper; stir until smooth.
Set aside.
In a small saucepan combine peas and broth; cover and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until peas are tender.
Stir in yogurt mixture; cook over low heat until thickened, stirring constantly.
