Creamed Mushrooms Recipe

For those of you who has never made Creamed Mushrooms, use this brilliant recipe. I am sure you will fall in love with the Creamed Mushrooms!

Ingredients

 
3 tbsp (45 ml) butter
 
1 1/2 lbs (675 g) mushrooms, cleaned, cut into segments
 
3 egg yolks
 
1/3 Cup (80 ml) 35% cream
 
Salt and pepper
 
1/4 Cup (60 ml) grated
 
Gruyere cheese

Directions

–  Preheat oven to 400 °F (205 °C).
–  In a skillet, melt butter and saute mushrooms, stirring with a wooden spoon until liquid evaporates completely. Place mushrooms in a baking dish and set aside.
–  In a bowl, combine egg yolks, cream, salt, and pepper. Pour mixture over mushrooms. Sprinkle with Gruyere and bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
