Creamed Glazed Apple and Pork Saute Recipe
Ingredients
| Margarine | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Onion | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs), diced | |
| 1 small apple, cored, pared, and cut into 1/4-inch-thick slices | ||
| 1 teaspoon granulated brown sugar | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Added sugar | 1/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Dry sherry | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 8 ounces boned cooked pork, cut into strips | ||
| Salt | 1/4 Teaspoon | |
| Pepper white | 1/8 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup plain low-fat yogurt | ||
Directions
In 9- or 10-inch nonstick skillet heat margarine until bubbly and hot; add onion and saute until translucent.
Add apple slices and brown sugar and stir to combine; sprinkle with flour and stir quickly to combine.
Cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes; gradually stir in apple juice.
Add sherry and bring to a boil.
Add pork, salt, and pepper and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
Stir in yogurt and heat thoroughly (do not boil).
