Ingredients
1 lb. fresh asparagus
1/2 cup Medium White Sauce
1/4 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
Directions
Wash asparagus; remove scales and break off stalks.
Break stalks into 1" lengths.
Cook, covered, in 1" boiling salted water 10 to 15 min.
Meanwhile, prepare White Sauce.
Add seasonings and drained cooked asparagus to the sauce.
Stir gently.
