Cream Puff Dessert Recipe
Ingredients
1 cup water
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
1 cup flour
4 eggs
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
3 1/2 cups cold milk
2 (4 ounce) packages chocolate instant pudding mix
8 ounces whipped topping
1/4 cup milk chocolate ice cream topping
1/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
1/3 cup chopped almonds
Directions
Combine the water and butter in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
Add the flour all at once; stir until a smooth ball forms.
Remove from heat; let stand for 5 minutes.
Add the eggs 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
Beat until smooth.
Spread in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
Bake at 400 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
Cool completely on a wire rack.
Combine the cream cheese, milk and dry pudding mix in a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture over the puff.
Chill, covered, for 20 minutes.
Spread whipped topping over the cream cheese layer.
Chill, covered, until ready to serve.
Drizzle with chocolate and caramel toppings and sprinkle with almonds.
