Cream Of Wheat Dumplings Recipe
Ingredients
1 egg, separated
2 tbsp. butter, softened
3 tsp. cream of wheat
1 tsp. flour
1 c. finely minced chicken livers
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 to 3 sprigs of parsley, chopped
Directions
Combine egg yolk, butter, cream of wheat and flour; mix well.
Beat egg white until stiff peaks form.
Add egg white; fold in remaining ingredients.
Roll out; cut into small strips.
Let stand for 5 to 10 minutes.
May be dropped into hot broth, soup or stew.
Sim- mer, covered, for 10 minutes.
