Ingredients

 Broccoli1 Bunch (100gm)
 Butter1/4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Onions2 , chopped
 Celery1 Cup (16 tbs), chopped
 1 clove garlic, chopped fine
 Flour1/2 Cup (16 tbs)
 Milk4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Chicken broth4 Cup (16 tbs)
 Thyme1/2 Teaspoon
 Marjoram1/2 Teaspoon
 Potatoes3 Cup (16 tbs), diced
 Salt To Taste
 Pepper To Taste

Directions

Trim broccoli and cut in large spears.
Cook in boiling, salted water until bright green in color, 2 minutes.
Immediately drain and plunge in cold water.
Drain.
Cut in small bite-size pieces.
Set aside.
In large saucepan or stockpot, melt butter and saute onions, celery and garlic until transparent and soft.
Stir in flour.
Gradually add milk, chicken broth and spices.
Stir over low heat until it thickens.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
