1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups flour
Directions
Cream the butter, cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy.
Beat in the egg and vanilla.
Add the flour gradually, beating until well blended.
Dough may be refrigerated for easier handling.
Press through a cookie press or roll on a floured surface and cut with cookie cutters.
Arrange on greased cookie sheets.
Bake at 325 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes or until done to taste.
