Cream of Spinach Soup Recipe
Ingredients
| Luxury margarine -1 ounce | ||
| Flour | 1 Ounce | |
| Milk | 1 Pint | |
| Frozen spinach - chopped , large packet | ||
| Salt - as required | ||
| Pepper - as required | ||
| Thin cream -2-3 tablespoons (optional) | ||
Directions
MAKING
1)In a pan, put margarine and flour, let it cook.
2)Gradually stir milk into the pan and let it boil till thick.
3)Add chopped frozen spinach in the mixture and cook only for 3-4 minutes, without over-cooking it.
4)Season it, and for a touch of luxury, add cream in it.
SERVING
5)Serve the Cream Of Spinach Soup with crusty bread.
