Ingredients

 Asparagus1 1/2 Pound
 Onion1 , finely chopped
 Carrot1 , thinly sliced
 2 stalks celery with leaves, thinly sliced
 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped
 Salt1 Tablespoon
 Seasoned salt1 Tablespoon
 Chicken broth3 Cup (16 tbs), canned
 Light cream1 Cup (16 tbs)
 1/2 c. thinly sliced boiled ham, cut in small pieces

Directions

Cut clean asparagus stalks into 1-inch pieces.
Place asparagus, onion, carrot, celery, potatoes, salt and broth in a 2-quart glass bowl.
Cover and microwave on high for 11 to 15 minutes until vegetables are tender.
Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
Puree soup in a blender.
Add cream and ham.
Heat on high 5 more minutes.
