| 1 egg, slightly beaten | ||
| Baking Unsweetened Chocolate | 1 Ounce, melted | |
| Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Directions
In a small saucepan, combine sugar and flour.
Stir in milk.
Stir constantly over low heat until smooth and thickened.
Remove from heat.
Stir a small amount of hot mixture into egg.
Add egg mixture to remaining hot mixture in saucepan.
Mix in chocolate.
Stir constantly over very low heat 1 minute longer.
Remove from heat.
Stir in vanilla.
Cover and chill.
Use as filling for layer cake or jelly roll.
