Cream Cheese Drops Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 pound sweet butter or unsalted margarine
1 package (3 ounces) cream cheese
1 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
1/3 cup semisweet chocolate morsels
Directions
Allow the butter and cream cheese to soften at room temperature.
Cream together the softened butter, cream cheese, and sugar.
Add the vanilla; mix well.
Gradually add the flour, beating in thoroughly.
Mix in the pecans.
Drop from a teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Decorate the tops with chocolate morsels, one for each cookie.
Bake in a 375° oven for about 10 minutes.(The cookies should be very lightly browned.)
