Cream Biscuits Recipe
These homemade cream biscuits are made from flour. Simply combined together and cut into shapes with a cookie or biscuit cutter, these are easily baked in the oven. Great as a snack or when served with tea.
Ingredients
2 cups sifted all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoons baking powder
1 cup heavy cream
Directions
Sift flour, salt, and baking powder together in a bowl.
In a second bowl, whip the cream until stiff enough to hold a shape.
Combine cream and flour mixture with a fork.
Place dough on a lightly floured board and knead for about 1 minute.
Pat dough 1/2 inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter.
Bake in a preheated 450° oven for about 12 minutes.
