Cranberry Nut Loaf Recipe
Cranberry nut loaf is a fruit and delicious loaf that can go with any meal. Baked with cranberries along with nuts and orange juice, the cranberry nut loaf is easy to bake and serve.
Ingredients
2 cups sifted flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
1 egg
1/4 cup shortening
1 teaspoon salt
1 1 x 2 piece orange rind
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup nuts
1 cup cranberries
Directions
Heat oven to 350°.
Grease loaf pan.
Sift flour, baking powder and baking soda into bowl and set aside.
Put egg, shortening, salt, orange rind, sugar, and orange juice into Osterizer container.
Cover and process aft MIX until rind is grated fine.
Add nuts and cranberries and process only until chopped.
Empty into flour mixture and mix only until blended.
Spoon into prepared pan.
Bake 50 60 minutes or until cake tester inserted comes out clean.
