Cranberry Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Whole wheat flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| 1 1/2 teaspoons low-sodium baking powder | ||
| Sea salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/4 cup non-instant milk powder | ||
| Juice of 1 orange | ||
| 2 tablespoons unrefined safflower oil | ||
| Enough hot water to bring liquid ingredients to 3/4 cup mark | ||
| Raw honey | 3/4 Cup (16 tbs) (Optional:) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten (Optional:) | |
| 1 cup broken nut meats | ||
| 1 cup whole, raw cranberries | ||
| Orange rind | 1 Tablespoon, grated (Optional:) | |
Directions
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and milk powder.
Mix the orange juice, oil, and water.
Add the honey and egg to the liquid.
Stir the liquid ingredients into the dry mixture.
Add the nuts and berries and fold together.
Pour into an oiled loaf pan.
Bake at 325 Degree 50 minutes to 1 hour.
Cool on a rack.
