Cranberry Bread Recipe
Ingredients
| Juice and grated rind of 1 orange | ||
| 3 tablespoons salad oil, Boiling water | ||
| All purpose flour | 2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking powder | 2 Teaspoon | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Egg | 1 , beaten | |
| 1 cup chopped or minced raw cranberries | ||
| Walnuts | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
Pour orange juice into a measuring cup, and add grated rind, oil and enough boiling water to make 3/4 cup.
Set aside.
Sift dry ingredients into a bowl, and make a well in the center.
Pour in the liquids and beaten egg.
Stir until blended.
Fold in cranberries and nuts.
Bake in a greased 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan at 325 °F. 60â€â€70 minutes or until center is set.
Cool in the pan.
Store 24 hours before slicing.
