Cranberry Orange Oatmeal Cookies Recipe
Ingredients
| Canola oil | 1 /3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Granulated Sugar | 1/2 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Packed brown sugar | 1/4 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Vanilla | 1 Teaspoon | |
| 1 egg or 2 egg whites | ||
| 2 cups old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats | ||
| All purpose flour | 2/3 Cup (16 tbs) | |
| Baking soda | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| Salt | 1 /2 Teaspoon | |
| Ground ginger | 1 Teaspoon | |
| Ground allspice | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
| 1/2 cup orange-flavored dried cranberries | ||
| Walnuts | 1 /4 Cup (16 tbs), chopped | |
Directions
MAKING
1 Heat the oven to 350 degrees farenheit.Spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
2 In a large bowl,mix oil,both the sugars,vanilla and egg with a spoon.Stir in oats,flour,baking soda,salt,ginger and allspice. Add in cranberries and allspice.
3 Drop the dough by a rounded teaspoonfulls about 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheet.
4 Bake for 9-13 minutes or until the edges turn golden brown.Cool for 1 minute and remove from the cookie sheet onto a wire rack.
SERVING
5 Serve as a tea-time snack.Store the cookies in an air-tight jar.
