Cranberry Orange Beets Recipe
Ingredients
| Cranberry-juice cocktail - 1 cup | ||
| Cornstarch | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Sugar | 1 Tablespoon | |
| Beets - 2 cans(16-ounces each), sliced and drained | ||
| Orange peel | 1/4 Teaspoon, grated | |
Directions
MAKING
1. In saucepan gradually stir cranberry juice into cornstarch, sugar and dash salt.
2. Cook stirring over medium heat till mixture thickens and bubbles.
3. Add beets and orange peel and simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes.
SERVING
4. Use the beets to garnish ice-creams, desserts or as desired.
