Cranapple Relish Recipe
This Cranapple Relish is a desire ! Spread a dollop of this sweet lemony cranberry and apple cream on turkey or ham. You can have it with vegetable latkes as well. Try this Cranapple Relish the way you like and tell me how you liked it best.
Ingredients
2 cups fresh cranberries
1 cup chopped pared apple
1 cup sugar
2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
4 teaspoons lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon butter or margarine
Directions
1. Wash cranberries. Combine all ingredients in a 2-quart glass casserole. Cook uncovered in microwave oven 8 to 10 minutes at High, or until berries have popped and relish is slightly thickened.
2. Spoon relish immediately into hot sterilized jars; cover. Cool. Store in refrigerator.
