Cranapple Kissel Recipe

Ingredients
2 cups chunked apples (2 large apples)
1 1/2 cups fresh cranberries
1 1/4 cups water
1/2 cup honey, or more, to taste
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 cup heavy cream
Directions
Combine apples, cranberries, and water in a medium-size saucepan.
Bring to a boil, and simmer, uncovered, for 10 minutes.
Cool slightly, and then puree mixture in a food processor or blender.
Add honey, cornstarch, and cinnamon, and process until well blended.
Return to saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
Cook for about 2 minutes.
Taste to correct seasoning; add more honey if too tart.
Place pan in a bowl of ice water to cool quickfy, whisking occasionally.
In a medium-size bowl, whip cream until soft peaks form.
Fold 1 cup whipped cream into cooled pudding.
Divide pudding among dessert dishes, and top with remaining cream.
