Ingredients
2 to 4 puff pastry patty shells
1 tablespoon butter
3 shallots, thinly sliced
1 red sweet pepper, cut into thin strips
12 ounces cooked crab meat
1 teaspoon green peppercorns in vinegar
3 1/2 ounces enoki mushrooms, bases trimmed
1 teaspoon shoyu
Directions
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Put patty shells on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes (or follow directions, if packaged).
In a saucepan, melt butter over medium high heat until foamy.
Stir in shallots and peppers; cook gently for 5 minutes.
Add crab and peppercorns (along with their vinegar); cover pan, reduce heat to medium, and simmer until bubbling hot.
Remove patty shell tops and return shells to oven.
Add enoki mushrooms to crab and cook for 1 minute, then add shoyu and heat until hot through.
Fill patty shells with crab mixture and serve at once.
