Ingredients
14 oz canned crab meat
1 oz black beans
1 clove garlic
2 teaspoons sherry
2 teaspoons oil
Pinch of ground ginger
Directions
Drain the crab and chop the meat finely.
Arrange it in the base of a greased shallow dish or souffle dish.
Put the beans in boiling water, bring them back to the boil, then drain and cool under cold running water.
Mash them with a fork.
Crush the garlic and mix with the beans, sherry, oil and ginger.
Beat well to make a smooth paste.
Spread this mixture over the crab.
Cover the dish.
Steam gently for 45 minutes.
