Crab Supper Pie Recipe
Ingredients
4 ounces natural Swiss cheese, shredded (1 cup) 1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell
1 7 1/2-ounce can crab meat, drained, flaked, and cartilage removed
2 green onions and tops, sliced
3 beaten eggs
1 cup light cream
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash ground mace
1/4 cup sliced almonds
Directions
Sprinkle cheese evenly over bottom of unbaked pastry shell.
Top with crab meat and green onion.
Combine eggs, cream, salt, lemon peel, dry mustard, and mace.
Pour over crab meat.
Top with almonds.
Bake at 325° till set, about 45 minutes.
Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving.
